Pakistani Dutch Christian community delegation met with the Dutch Parliament member Mr Joel voordewind . The members of the delegation was Watson Gill, Sajid Bhatti With Mr Ari van Buuren (President URI) , Mr Bart ten Broek (Sec URI) and M. Saeed. They raised thier questions on Pakistani Christian asylum seekers in the Netherlands on Wednesday, 11th Dec, 2013 meeting with Mr Joel voordewind in his office in the Dutch Parliament.

In first round the members discussed the situation in Pakistan, they said Christians continue facing enormous persecution, discrimination and injustice in Pakistan. Many Christians have been falsely charged under art 295/C PPC. Many of them tortured, rape even killed by the either Muslim angery mobs or by the police. These Islamic radicals groups are supported by the police and security services. And now the Federal Shariat Court (FSC) has issued orders to remove the provision of life-imprisonment from the blasphemy law.

Relating the issue of Pakistani Christian asylum seekers they said, It is very dificult for Pakistani Christians to escape from this shamfull system. and if few Christian got chance to escape from Pakistan for safe their life and respect ,but now the doors are closed for Pakistani Christians in The Netherlands

The delegation also presented 5 point petition and requested to Mr Joel for raise his voice in the Dutch Parliament for Pakistani Christian asylum seekeers.
